im still very much in love with jay ;)) for some prom insights, check out the visuals provided by sam and simeng. unfortunately there isnt any jay insights. the camera was simply too lousy to take any good shots. even so, do go feast your eyes, for there are definitely photos not to be missed. -grins-

JAY ROCKS!!! im so in love. if youre waiting for a report of his concert, just read the news. jay - is what you call a superstar. there was magic in the air. he was juts less than twenty metres away. so near but yet so far ya. im so star-struck. if xinyi goes gaga over someone, it only shows his strength.

to all jay haters (eg. loko): even you will feel his charm.
note: i am not exaggerating!

finally decided on the jcs. placed vjc as first choice. (my blog cannot survive without oddy, i have to follow her to vjc!) hehe. even though im not too optimistic about my chances, but at least i tried lah. was rather encouraged to take this risk by jieyi's inspiring entry and the mayday song which is now playing on my blog.

EVERYBODY, four hours later i will be mesmerised by the jay magic in singapore indoor stadium. jay jay jay. i cant wait. ;))

went to keli's house to paint her room today. the room is damn small but we took like forever to finish painting. keli had like two dark blue walls, two light blue walls and a medium blue ceiling. so when you accidentally paint the other wall, you'll have to touch up on it. the ceiling was especially difficult. kept painting onto the other walls. so we had a lot of touching up to do. and we kept knocking over the paints. so our feet were gross cos we kept stepping on those spilled paints. but it was still fun ya. some lessons learnt. always cover the floor with loads and loads of newspaper. two or three layers would be good. paint the ceiling first! then you wont have to touch up so much. paint all the walls in your room in just one colour. then there wont even be any touching up to do.

mr cpe did say something like that at 5.45. ohh, and instead of his usual, "you can only use pencils to shade your bubbles", he went, "use pencils to shade your umm -hesitates- boxes." so its bubbles no more.

the o's have finally ended. yay. do i sound excited? no. liberated? not really. not really. i set myself free right after history. nevertheless, it rocks to know that i no longer have to drag myself to study hard, for a very very long time. ;))

first we'll have some updates on oddy. my heart goes out to her. while everyone went chilling with friends, poor little oddy had no one. there's no more o levels tys to accompany her. BUT. fear not. she has the a levels! according my trusted source, she's going to get a levels books from her cousin! amazing speed ya. she just cant wait. very sadly, i think this will be the last oddy-related entry. oh wait. there's the class chalet! who knows what might happen. watch this space man. its going to be exciting!

went to suntec marche after the paper. now i know what they mean when they say marche is nice. well if you dont know it was my first time there. (yah lah im suakoo laugh lah laugh.) if only marche was buffet. then we'll eat the whole house down. and jamie will eat until even the padi field got no more rice left. lol. she claims that the rice is "soft and fluffy, just like snow!"

im awfully broke. and the holidays have only just begun. i do paint jobs. anyone wants to hire me?

-knocks on the mike thrice- "the time is now -pause- five forty five. no more -pause- writing. -scans through the hall- tie your answer below your quishion (question) paper. write your quishion number on your cover page. the invigilators will go down to collect -pause- when you're done." only seven hours more to the cpe making his usual ending lines. wahaha. ;DDD

THE DREADED HISTORY IS OVER!!! history is history ;))

kembangan is full of thieves. according to the news, there are many cases of stolen bicycles here in my little estate. also, bicycles are damaged when the thieves fail to unchain it. honestly these people. -shakes head- on my way to kcc today, i saw a bicycle in the big canal. maybe this thief managed to unlock the bike, but realised it was too laopoksai to be of any value, and thus threw it into the longkang.

the longkang is becoming a great place for sabotage. first we have people throwing other people's basketball into it. now we have bicycles thrown in too. perhaps we should destroy the longkang and let kembangan flood. (to ms: maybe then you can come to kembangan to snorkel.)

everyone has a long list of things to do after the o's. mine would be pretty short.
1. sleeeep!
2. play so much basketball till every entry i write will start with 'today i played bball..." wahaha.
3. shop till i drop. and till the money runs out.
4. take photos.
5. get out of the east and orchard and start exploring other parts of our dear little island.
unlike everyone else, i am not greedy and i dont plan to do a gazillion and one things all just in five weeks. i think these five is more than enough. however, in the meantime, its just me and the books. and the tv and guo jin an. (to sam: stick to your small eyes fetish. keep your hands off guo jin an! ;P)

read this in suckball. its funny.

Traditional Economics
You have two cows.
You sell one and buy a bull.
Your herd multiplies and the economy grows.
You retire on the income.

Indian Economics
You have two cows.
You worship them.

Pakistan Economics
You don't have any cows.
You claim that the Indian cows belong to you.
You ask the US for financial aid,
China for military aid,
Britain for warplanes,
Italy for machines,
Germany for technology,
France for submarines,
Switzerland for loans,
Russia for drugs and
Japan for equipment.
You buy the cows with all this and claim of exploitation by the world.

American Economics
You have two cows.
You sell one and force the other to produce the milk of four cows.
You profess surprise when the cow drops dead.
You put the blame on some nation with cows & naturally that nation will be a danger to mankind.
You wage a war to save the world and grab the cows.

french Economics
You have two cows.
You go on strike because you want three cows.

German Economics
You have two cows.
You re-engineer them so that they live for 100 years, eat once a month and milk themselves.

British Economics
You have two cows.
They are both mad.

Italian Economics
You have two cows.
You don't know where they are.
You break for lunch.

Swiss Economics
You have 5000 cows, none of which belong to you.
You charge others for storing them.

Japanese Economics
You have two cows.
You re-design them so that they are one-tenth the size of an ordinary cow and produce twenty times the milk.
You then create cute cartoon cow images called Cowkimon and market them worldwide.

Russian Economics
You have two cows.
You count them and learn you have five cows.
You count them again and learn you have 42 cows.
You count them again and learn you have 17 cows.
You give up counting and open another bottle of vodka.

Chinese Economics
You have two cows.
You have 300 people milking them.
You claim full employment, high bovine productivity and arrest anyone reporting the actual numbers.

Sri Lankan Economics
You have a cow and a bull,
you let the cow be President and the bull be Prime Minister
and let them blame each other for the state the country is in

i have come to acknowledge that it was my fault that i lost my phone and wallet. from chongwah the wise old one, "it's your responsibilty to take care of your things." if only i can rebut that but i can't. ;(

now ive got another story to tell. what a lucky person i am. blessed with wonderful life with interesting happenings.

some bloody idiot took weewee's bag. and my phone and wallet happened to be inside. and the bastard ransacked ms's bag and took her phone. sheesh. its only an 8250 also want. i know my 6610 is very tempting so i dont blame him. and my wallet is so cool he needs to have it. and he really fancies weewee's bag cos he didnt bother taking the rest. weewee's wallet is gone too. i dont think he's in love with her wallet, probably what's inside the wallet which contains her tuition fees.

bloody bastard i hope you drown in all the bags/handphones/wallets you stolen. you stinking thief who know no morals. your happiness is at the expense of MINE. (and ms's and weewee's ones of course) your mama must be hurting cos she brought up a son who does no good. but i dont care how much your mama is hurting cos you hurt us too. creep.

i liked my quiksilver wallet quite a lot ;( and i loved my phone. now i have to get so many things replaced. ez-link, atm card, sim card, all sorts of cards, my wallet, and most importantly i need a phone! any kind souls with 7610s to donate? and i need to get everyone's numbers. drats. so ppl, it would be helpful if you can pass me your number somehow ;)

ive wasted a day. and i havent started on my history, chem and physics. im so bloody screwed. i still cant put my mind off my lost stuff. how to concentrate. OF ALL TIMES YOU BLOODY THIEF!

today was supposed to be a happy day. it may have started happy, it ended sad. ;(

what a beautiful saturday morning. saturday mornings are meant for basketball, not mugging. but screw it, i'm stuck with the books for now.

nevertheless, we went to play yesterday. a little more excitement the mundane routine of sitting for a paper in the morning and going home for more mugging. visited kleon's house again. played a little pool, and brought the house down with the piano. while we messed his house up, he simply hid in his room playing a game. (shall not name the game lest i get it wrong. details are the most important! it could be final fantasy name-your-number or some other unknown games. i wouldnt know would i? ;P)

headed back to the cc after we had enough. ms and cherlyn decided to have some fun scaring us. unfortunately, cherlyn's attempt to camouflage with the grass was unsuccessful and everyone saw her. (please do realise that tkgs green is not of the same shade of cow grass green.) ms decided to hide on the other side of the truck, thinking we wouldnt see her. indeed the truck did block her body, but too bad, it didnt hide her shoes. maybe next time you can hide in the drain and jump up when we walk by?

played ball with chongwah. he's the funniest person ive ever met. he've never failed to crack me up. lol. played with andre and shamir too. had many near fatal collisions, but since i stayed close to the girls i was pretty safe. all went on pretty well, lots of laughter and fun, until tojo appeared. ive realised that my dislike for him is much stronger than that for oddy. compared to tojo, oddy is a dream come true. i would have oddy in my class all the way to university if that would keep tojo away. i am bloody serious. but unfortunately she cant keep tojo away so she shall go hwachong.

in response to cherlyn's tag (which was cherlyn: tat bball guy look like tojo! haha), please click here to see how general hideki tojo looks like. since i dont have the bball tojo, the war one will do due to the uncanny resemblance, especially the moustache. then, compare it with my blog layout (i supposed the bball guy she's referring to is the one on the left). see any similarities? if you do, you are blind. oh and cherlyn, if you meant some other bball guy, feel free to let me know and i will change this nitty-gritty detail! =))

now it's time to hit the books. -big sigh-

i shall make it clear, that the stories i tell are often cut/edited/twisted/not 100% accurate. not 100% accurate in the sense that i may forget the exact words my characters spoke, the correct sequence of events and who said what. so, i will anyhow hoot. BUT. since the gist of the story is there, those nitty-gritty details left out or i got wrong isn't all THAT important. but nevertheless, being the one who tries-and-falls-and-tries-again-and-falls-again-yadayada (and according to the nov04 olevel chinese paper 2 multiple choice comprehension, [<--one correct nitty-gritty detail] it is a very meaningful to try, fall, try again, fall again, blah), i have corrected my mistakes in the previous entry.

it would also be very helpful if anyone involved in the story would like to clarify anything, like for example, "i never say pessimistic, i said negative". that would really improve my story a lot. -big grin-
