went to safra tampines with my organ mates. ate at this international buffet thing. the food's not bad. but didnt eat much. then there was the xmas gift exchange. forget to bring present. so paiseh. luckily, my teacher saved me by saying her present is mine instead. so she didnt get anything from the exchage. feel quite bad now. think i'll get her some earrings.
went up to bowl after that. teacher paid for us. so generous. we thought she's just going to get two games, but she got two games for each of us. bowl until finger tired. the kids on the next lane were so cute. they just throw the ball onto the lane. lol. everytime got different pattern of throwing. thus, my friends started trying different styles of bowling too. -___-
then they went to arcade. too bad ive got no money. if not can play daytona. its been a long time since i last stepped into an arcade.

followed my parents to jurong for some bedlinen sale. in the end, the stuff there wasnt that cheap. but there was like a super long queue. my dad claims that theres about 20 cashiers and that the queue is at least half a kilometre long. so, they gave up on buying anything.
went to roach's house in the afternoon, played bridge and mahjong. as usual. twc's favourite past time. i brought the jay chou cards along, so we were all comparing the jay pictures. spades has the best looking jay and the clubs totally suck. hhaha.
roach's mom cooked for us. her mom can really cook lah. unless my mom. we forced ber to eat either 2 lettuce leaves or a broccoli or we would play mahjong without her. haha. you all should have seen man. damn funny.
and so. ber is gonna come my house tmr to watch my love patzzi. shall try to force some veggie down her throat. muahaha. i feel evil.

went out with mom in the afternoon. she brought us to jack's place for lunch, but there's not much to choose from since we cant take beef. walked around east point to buy ahpa's present. thought of buying star runner vcd. but it'll be so embarrassing. haha. supposed to go for the body world exhibition. but was too lazy. so went to tampines instead. bought her a jacket from baleno. cos its half-priced. haha.
had twc xmas dinner at hard rock cafe. took a long time before we could get places. they had a live band, the keyboardist, he's brilliant. and the girl has quite a nice voice. shared the jumbo combo with loko. they had the onion rings, which was literally onion rings. like a ring of onion coated with flour. yucks.
finally realised that my secret santa was hanny. i thought it would be roach. obviously not. she got me a pencil case, and -drumroll- a deck of jay chou cards! think i shall show it to roach every day. hahha.

watched lotr yesterday. it was like whoa. damn good. but then, its spoiled by some unforeseen circumstances. first, we got the second row, so its damn uncomfortable for 3 whole hours. second, some annoying ppl just dont turn their phones to silent mode. its happened at least twice or thrice. then, some men in front, they were like "this is laserbeam..blah". -___- and lastly, ahpa disturbed me with her endless chatter. okay lah. its exaggerated. but she suddenly talked about toro or frodo for no reason. she should go for etiquette lessons.
but anyway, im gonna watch it again, so it doesnt really matter. so ppl, hurry go and watch, cos its definitely worth that money. really.

went to ahsoh's house with the late princess/prince, monica. she actually overslept?! heng i predicted that she would be at least 20min late and i didnt leave the house too early.
first time in sengkang. feel like some suakoo singaporean who've never been to anywhere beyond the east. okay anyway, the flats there are identical. almost all the blocks have the same design and colour. as miss ong would say, "its too dull. you must make it interesting with many shades." haha.
had lunch at her house. some pasta with cheese and a chicken pie. and we had to watch westside story. lemme tell you, even the clownfish in the fish tank was more interesting. taught ahsoh how to download songs from mirc, but i guess the next time i go to her house, she would ask me to teach again.
went down to play bball. shooting quite well for a change. then some annoying, thick-skinned and oblivious idiots came and treated the court as if they were the only ones around. "play 3 sets, 7 points." "ok." -___- then it started raining, so we went up.
played cards, attempted play 3-man bridge. and i got to be the person who holds 2 sets of cards. somehow, it worked to my advantage. played uno with gordon [ahsoh's lil bro], and he kept peeping at my cards. evil little boy. played mahjong after that. ahsoh's mom was like complaining that ahsoh is too slow. and then, ahsoh's mom came to the conclusion that ahsoh was called ahsoh cos she's very slow and blur, but not anything that has got to do with leonard. haha.
didnt want to leave, but monica had tuition, so we left. the bus stop is like bloody far away. sengkang is a troublesome place. and the population is kinda small. its good to stay in kembangan.

maid came back yesterday. finally. its good to have someone to do the chores. haha.
my siblings' birthdays today. went for lunch at some kopitiam. supposed to be serving great food. but my sis was really unhappy cos she didnt get to go to any restaurants or 'cold cold place', as she calls it.
have no idea who's my secret santa. when everyone knows who's theirs. and i dont know what to buy for fly. cos all the things she wants are way off the budget. have to rack my poor brains.

part of twc + ahpa + fly came to my house. watched ahpa's vcds. we watched like 2 episodes before i found out its e zuo ju zhi wen. the show's not bad lah. but too bad the comic drawing sucks, or i'll start collecting. have to admit that leandra's kashi guy looks quite good at times, but that picture of him on her msn is horrible.
played lots of bridge. sam justina and ahpa left earlier. and we continued playing bridge until dinnertime. went out to buy food, dunno why they kept claiming that one is more mature than the other. then, they start fighting with umbrellas. -______- hanny was quite funny, her umbrella kept opening itself up for no reason. lol.
continued with bridge till 8.30. when i finally want to settle down to watch my currently most favourite show - tan pan zhuan jia. its about time yang guang and keren get together. hope keren ditches jacky as soon as possible. haha.
my brother's room has this annoying mosquito flying around. it gave me at least ten bites today already. how can neha want to be a mosquito. evil.

got my phone back. everything's gone. i even have to reactivate my mms. and all my saved sms-es are gone. that evil woman didnt tell me that. arghh.
ate at pizza hut. had the triple joy pizza. think i'll stick with hawaiian the next time. took photos outside tm cos ahsoh wanted to finish up her film. then went for the movie, love actually. kinda confusing at first. cant remember any of their names, except for that singer, uncle billy. lol. damn funny. hugh grant was good, with his 'groovy' moves. quite like that guy, the one who likes his best friend's wife. he's sooo sweet.
went to toy'r'us to buy my sister's present. couldnt find it, so i asked the staff. and that guy was showing a what-the-hell-you-want-a-bubble-gun-for kind of look. bought the bubble gun with stitch. quite broke liao. still havent got my brother's present. i hate it when it's december.

sent my phone for repair. the lousy woman, cant even take my cover off properly. she took like 5min and in the end, i offered to help her.
watched elf with my mother and sister at tm. it was better than expected. quite funny, buddy (the human raised by elves) does ridiculous things like plucking chewed chewing gums off the railing and treating it like new. gross. and he adds lots of sweet stuff, cookies, chocolates, chocolate syrup, marshmallows and lots of sweets to his spaghetti. haha.
bought my converse shoes. and then went to metro, then isetan, then bata, then americaya, and back to isetan, and finally, bata. cos my picky sister cant decide which pair of shoes she wants. but she picked all the high-heeled shoes. -____-''' hope she gets sore feet after walking in them.

went for sji's renaissance. it was not exactly fantastic, but it was quite fun.
met sam at kembangan, then went to ps. met her friends, then walked around ps. after that, took bus with them to sji. some ppl were like overdressed, some like me, very very casual. anyway, the band wasnt that great. not very good coordination, the emcees dont have chemistry. the lines are quite funny lah, but the cartoon-voice didnt sound funny saying it at all. the indian one was not bad though.
the junior band was very entertaining. they played the coke ad song, chihwahwa. lingxiu should have been there. then the seniors formed trains [putting their hands on the shoulders of the person in front] and jogged in front of the stage. jacky was leading the line, so it was so damn funny. if only we took a photo of it, he would be shamed for life. haha.
the alumni band was alot better. the quality of guys was better lah. duh of course. then there was this pro drummer with dirty blond hair. quite cute lah. sam wanted the butch lookalike drummer. lol.
and then, the main band returned, the played a few songs. quite nice. then, annoying ppl kept encore-ing. hate the sound of the bagpipe. and the encore had to include the bagpipe. the last encore was cute, they played spongebob squarepants. the poor juniors had to dance for it. i feel paiseh for them.
after the concert, jon took us for a quick tour around sji. the school is huge. tkgs have nothing to show man. then waited in the canteen cos this girl, a friend of sam's friend, wanted to wait for her bf. and when he finally came, he wasnt joining us. so waited for nothing. and while waiting, she was like so annoying. especially the accent.
took bus to orchard, and then she complained. "omg its going to take soo loooong!" she just makes you go -__-'''. we dont just sprout wings and fly you know. bought coffees at starbucks, then shared cab with sam, jon and that girl. she, being irritating as usual, was like "omg im becoming more singlish! its all your fault jon!" -____-
oh yes. did i mention that jon is like an exact replica of josia. they look so alike loh. just that josia is thinner, jon has a little more flesh. yes. thats about all.

went to monica's house today. played mahjong and bridge. as usual. i sound like some auntie: "im going to play mahjong!". and some old british woman: "im going to play bridge!" but oh well. they are addictive games.

went to tm with ahpa today. supposed to accompany her to watch star runner, but since its such a unpopular show, both tm and century square wasnt showing it. and so, i got to watch brother bear. its quite a nice show, stupid ahpa kept complaining that its going to be so lame and so paiseh to be sitting with the kids. but in the end, she also said its nice.
anyway, we got the wrong seat. supposed to be H13 and H14, but we sat at K13 and K14. so paiseh man. i was like alone with two drinks and ahpa's ahbeng pouch. how embarrassing. walked around tampines after the show. nothing much, just saw many of ahpa's "ahbeng friends".
my dad just bought durians. so so nice. been a super long time since i last had durians. yum.

sat went to m'sia. stopped by malacca for lunch, then drove to kl. had a hard time finding a place to eat dinner. stayed in times square. first we got two rooms which havent been cleaned and smells of smoke. then, we got a suite with a spoiled aircon in the living room and one of the bedrooms. but it was very spacious, and we were the first ones to stay in the suite. walked a whole big round around the hotel before realising that there's a mall beside the hotel.
walked around in times square mall, its like damn huge, but it doesnt have many shops cos it just opened not too long ago. checked out the prices over there and it was quite reasonable. didnt buy anything cos i assumed that we could buy stuff the next day. apparently not.
couldnt sleep at night cos my ahma was snoring so loudly. its horrible.
sun dad wanted to eat the bak kut teh at jalan imbi but he couldnt find it. so he called up an old family friend and he brought us there. but the jalan imbi store was closed. so he brought us to another bak kut teh store at kepong. it was quite good. then went visiting my ahma's old friends. the last house that we went was very nice. quite big, the elder son got the top floor all to himself. its like a penthouse loh. so lucky.
went shopping at midvalley. the shopping centre is huge loh. there's around four or five storeys, and there's the north tower, central tower and south tower. one tower is like 1 parkway. something like that. bought a bag, some sports bra and hidden track ep. its like so cheap. should have bought some clothes too. but walking around a level is like so tiring already.
and then, my ahma's friends insisted that we have dinner with them, so we did. the dinner dragged on for like two and a half hours. not as if its some wedding banquet. super duper slow. only got back to the hotel at ten, and all the shops were closed. so, there's nothing to buy.
mon went for bak kut teh again. at some place near the hotel. its like very bad compared to the first one. but then again, its supposed to be another kind of bak kut teh. went to the theme park in times square with my mom and sis. the roller coaster looked damn good, but no one wanted to take it with me. stupid sis, she's like scared of everything. bumper car also scared. so in the end i only took one ride that they tricked me onto.
stayed in the theme park for only one hour or so. so lame. good thing came with the hotel room. if not waste money only. headed for malacca after that. went shopping at this shopping centre. cant remember what its called. its big, but there's nothing much there. bought two body gloves shirt, and presents for ppl. what a nice person i am. haha. how humble can i get.
tues stopped over at johor for lunch. the durians there looked so nice, but stupid me ate too much prawns and couldnt eat the durians. wasted. went home after that.
today went to raffles place to meet monica, ber and ahpa. played bridge in macs. then went to fort canning. dunno why also. took some photos, then keli's camera ran out of batt. her camera's like so nice, so compact. too bad my dad isnt into digital cam. left after awhile cos it was quite boring. and there was plenty of mosquitoes. so we became food for them.
went to ps, ate at long johns cos some ppl claimed to be hungry. then walked over to take neos cos ber wanted to take with ahpa. quite lame lah. cos we dunno what to write/draw. then they left. only me and ahpa stayed to eat dinner. walked to kino first cos lame ahpa wanted to buy westside story comic. a total waste of money. and i wanted to buy qi ling wang. but it so happened that both the books were sold out. its amazing how such a lame book can get sold out. -___-
