three whole days of whooping fun. you just gotta love sports carnival.
wednesday
bungee run, sumo wrestling, and foosball. all the crazy games the main committee brought in. we ponned maths lecture just to play. funny to watch, fun to play.
dodgeball, ultimate frisbee and bungee run with bball girls. two hampers won, plus three from the guys, all calling out for us to clear them up!
overnight run, 290 rounds. even though i dread the run, but i love the tradition. but that was such a long night. there was nothing much to do, except to wait for time to tick by. lying on the track, doing nothing but watch figures run past. walking around the school, checking out the funny sleeping postures people have.
thursday
sports carnival was kickstarted with the last round of the overnight run, introduction of the uber-cute mascot, flying fox, gamma cheerleading, lots of confetti, and weirui's glittery javelin throw. so darn cool. i was giving out flyers on the games in sports carnival, and something damn funny happened. this guy, came up to me and handed me the flyer. upon seeing my blank look, he said, "i'm helping out with the giving out of flyers, so take it!" so when i told him that i was the one who gave it out, the shocked look on his face was classic.
captains ball. sigh. the alpha team (US) should have got thru, if not for mervyn's team and yiheng's tyco team. i hate these hockey players lah. just stick with your sport lah, dammit. was walking around aimlessly after our games. was so bored that i had to resort to asking kahsing for entertainment. wahahaa.
had the final rehearsal for closing ceremony in the afternoon, and couldnt go home cos it was raining so hard after we finished. i think the rain did something to us, we all went high. soccer in the rain (you know, me and soccer?!), netball, volleyball, anything we could think of. new game invented: sliding on the stage for closing ceremony.
friday
did refereeing and scorekeeping for basketball. was stuck with reading out dedications for most of the time. crapping with huimin was fun, but she had to go for captains ball. everyone else was busy so i was pretty much left alone there, talking to myself. im going to swear off english songs for awhile, so many songs were overplayed, i got so sick of them. until this guy came along, and started the aqua fever by asking for songs like barbie girl. hahahaa. it was really a much needed and refreshing change.
closing ceremony was a success! cos of our great show. ;DDD khimrong losing the ball wasnt a hitch up lah, it was all planned. (yeah right.)
alpha took home the best titans and the best house! and cheryl's our miss titan (number two). orientation, road run, sports day, titans, sports carnival. clean sweep. this year is alpha's year.

finally something to cheer me up - the vj harmoc concert. yeap it was really good, especially emma's solo!! she was the best part of the concert! im not saying that just because its emma's solo but it was really great ;)
and the most exciting moment was when ODDY was spotted at the circle seats with her boyfriend! we tried very hard to take a glimpse at her, but she had her face hiding behind the booklet, and her boyfriend grinning at us all the time, as if watching out for us. and when we finally caught her, we were amazed at her weight loss!! i think its marie france bodyline. oh wait, maybe its because she goes out more often instead of mugging at home. going out burns more calories than mugging? i guess thats a pretty sound conclusion eh.
next week is sports carnival. please come down to watch the closing ceremony, cos yours truly will be performing! it is a performance not to be missed!

today was meet old friends day. met quite a few people, parkway is always such a hot spot. lets see, i met leandra first. hahaha, okay that was pre-arranged. well, we met lanatar the mad woman.
then, (the most interesting of all) we bumped into ber, clinging tightly onto her darling. i think he looks better in person. seriously. but he thought i was sam. uhh? okay. i guess he was making a desperate attempt by throwing out any names he know of.
later, i met simeng flirting with her group of boyfriends! i think there was at least four of them and one of her. big flirt. -shakes head. last person i met was jingxuan, at the tj choir concert. uhh, the concert was okay lah. the best thing about choir concerts is looking at people's expressions when they sing. xiao j looked like labi xiaoxin as usual, jonny was grinning at us and kiki tried very hard not to look at us. hahaha. and there were a few others with hilarious expressions! its funny.
life's been just alright, nothing really worth mentioning. just that i feel myself drifting away, to my own island. nobody seems to understand. everyone's too lsme, too boring, too unclassy, too bitchy, too dumb, too insentive, blah. just too damn unclickable. sudden pangs of missing tk.
